Les Arcs-Bourg St Maurice/Plagne la Rosiere Val/TignesThe New Les Arcs/La Plagne link makes this ski area the 2nd largest in the world! This is the claim of the tourist office of Les Arcs/Bourg saint Maurice and La Plagne. The new linked ski area will boast 425 kms of ski-piste, 3 glaciers, 2 peaks over 3,000 meters, Villaroger, the longest ski-piste in Europe (7 kms) and a new express double decker cable car(4 minute ride) and a Funicular that takes just 7 minutes to rise 650 meters!
The resorts are open from mid-December to the end of April each year. Small lift queues, fantastic boarding areas, off-piste, Les Arcs/La Plagne offer skiing & snow-boarding for all abilities and walks, golf, tennis, VTT and hundreds of other summer recreation activities for all the family.
The world renowned resorts of Val d'Isere, Tignes, La Rosiere and Ste Foy are all just 15-25 minutes or so away. A traditional French Alpine Village, Les Echines Dessous nestles on a South facing "versant" slope just 4 ms from Bourg & benefits from excellent sun and snow conditions. |
